Abstract:
The Socioeconomic Status Theme is one of four that composes the CDC/ATSDR Social Vulneratiblity Index. Four different variables derived from the United States Census Bureau's 5-year American Community Survey belong to this theme, including persons with an income below the poverty line, the civilian labor force who are unemployed, persons age 25 and older without a high school diploma, and per capita income. This set of variables was used for this theme from 2012-2018.
